Can we do 2 Umrah a day?

Must read

Umrah is the lesser of Islam’s two pilgrimages. Those who book Umrah packages do so out of devotion to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and his companions.

Since the Umrah pilgrimage is performed and its ceremonies are observed at the convenience of the individual, there is no set time limit. Simply said, an individual is free to schedule his or her Umrah trip whenever it is most convenient in terms of time, money, and vitality.

So, if you’re wondering whether or not it’s possible to conduct two Umrahs in a single day, here’s what you need to know.

Time required for Rituals of Umrah.

1.    Entering the State of Ihram.

Umrah begins at the Meeqat barrier, beyond the city of Makkah, when the pilgrim enters the state of Ihram. All areas of Makkah are serviced by one of the five Meeqat locations. Take into account the Meeqat area around your route of travel.

The pilgrims’ goal is a state of pure purity known as Ihram, while the phrase is commonly used to refer to the ceremonial clothes worn by pilgrims during the performance of religious rituals. Until the pilgrims repudiate the state of Ihram, they are forbidden from engaging in certain previously permitted activities.

Men and women observe Ihram by donning distinct garments. Male pilgrims are expected to always use two white sheets (unstitched), one for the upper body and one for the lower body. Female pilgrims, on the other hand, are free to wear whatever they like (so long as it is stitched) so long as it is plain and modest enough for the Ihram. Because of this, most Muslim women choose to wear an Abaya over their regular clothes during Ihram.

2.    Tawaf of the Holy Kaabah.

After entering the state of Ihram, a pilgrim must make the journey to Masjid al-Haram to circumambulate the Holy Kaabah, also known as the “Round.”

Tawaf is the act of performing seven clockwise circles around the Holy Kaaba, with each circuit beginning and ending at the location known as Hajar-al-Aswad.

Depending on how fast or slow you go, the Tawaf ritual might take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours. The time it takes depends on factors such as the number of people in Haramain and how quickly they walk.

3.    Sayee of Safah Marwah hills.

The Sayee ritual comprises making seven circuits between the Safa and Marwa hills (located on the Masjid al-Haram grounds). Approximately 3.5 km (or 2.2 miles) need to be traveled in this context.

It may take up to 45 minutes or more to complete this procedure.

4.    Shaving or Trimming the Hair.

Hair removal or trimming is the final Umrah rite. Men typically have a full head shave (called Halq) while women get a short crop (called Taqsir).

Once the procedure is finished, the Ihram status can be renounced. It can take up to 30 minutes to cut, shave, or trim an area.

Is it possible to offer 2 Umrahs in a day?

It is difficult to perform two umrahs in a single day due to the length of time required for the four main rituals we’ve just discussed. You also need to factor in the time it takes to: • Manage the logistics of getting to and from the mosque.

·       Crowd control

·       Making one’s own arrangements.

·       Observance of Required Prayers

·       Intermittent eating and drinking.

A healthy person will need about three to four hours to perform the Umrah rituals in sequence.

Consequently, one must bear in mind that the execution of Umrah with the coordination of Umrah Travel agencies like, Umrah Travel Agency which is Baitullah Travel, is neither a contest nor a race. One must give one’s full attention to the rites, carrying them out with honesty, reflection, and respect. Therefore, appropriating the pilgrimage’s true spiritual meaning.

Umrah can be done in few hours but it is difficult to perform two Umrah in a day. There are some factors which by which I have concluded that it is difficult to perform two Umrah in a day. One of them is crowd. There are millions of Muslims who perform Umrah in every month so a person got tired at the end of his Umrah. After all the rituals of Umrah a man literally got tired.

Remember that the quality of your Umrah is what counts to Allah the Most High, not the quantity, when you fly there to perform the rites.
