Facts About Darood e Taj
The words that are recited to send Durood to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are called Durood e Taj.

The words of this Durood are wrong. Because it contain polytheism and exaggeration in the glory of the Prophet (SAW). By relying on these words, the blessed words of Darood will be omitted and the words of bid’ah will become substitutes for the blessed words.
Here are some of the many Shariah obscenities contained in the words of Darood e Taj:-
First
In Darood e Taj, it is said about the Prophet (SAW) that is:
” دافع البلاء والوباء والقحط والمرض والألم “
So to say this about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is shirk. Because the one who avoids calamities. The one who relieves hardships. And the one who help in needs, that is the one and only Allah (SAT). The Allah Almighty says:
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
And if Allaah afflicts you with harm. Then there is none to remove it except Allah. And if He does good to you. Then He is able to do all things. (Al Anam: 17)
Allaah says in Surrah Namal:
أَمَّنْ يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ أَإِلَهٌ مَعَ اللَّهِ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Who is the one who hears the cry of the helpless. When he cries out to Him and removes his distress. And the one who makes you the successor of the earth? Is there another god with God? You must pay little attention. [النمل: 62]
All the Prophets used to seek help from Allah Almighty whenever they were afflicted with any problem.
وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَى مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
And when Noah called to Us. We heard his call, so We saved him and his family from the great distress. [Surah Anmbiya: 76]
Surrah Anmbya
وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ * فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِنْ ضُرٍّ
Remember the state of Ayub when he cried out to his Lord: I have been afflicted with this disease and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful. So We listened to them and relieved them of their distress. [Al Anmbiya: 83, 84]
Sayyidah Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to take care of a sick person. Or a sick person was brought to him, he would say:
أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Lord of the people! End the affliction. And You are the Healer. There is no healing without Your healing, give healing such that no disease remains. ” This hadith has been narrated by Imam Bukhari (5675) and Muslim (2191).
Second
In Darood e Taj, it is said about Jibreel (peace be upon him) is the servant of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). It is a fabricated sentence about an angel who brings the Wahee. Allaah has endowed him with the best attributes. Allaah says:
نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ * عَلَى قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ
Translation: It has been sent down to your heart with the trustworthy angel so that you may be one of the warners. [Alshura: 193, 194]
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ * ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ * مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ
Translation: Surely this is the word of a messenger who is very honorable. Very powerful and very high in the sight of the one on the throne, there he is followed and he is also trustworthy. [التكوير: 19 – 21]
Third
Here is the third reason of Darood e Taj:
The Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked : “Messenger of Allaah! We have learnt to recite Darood on you. But how can we recite Salat on you? The Prophet “Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ، اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Translation: O Allah! Have mercy on Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and on His family as you have mercy on the family of Ibraaheem. O Allah! So bless Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and His family as you blessed the family of Ibraaheem. This hadith has been narrated by Imam Bukhari (6357) and Muslim (406).
Therefore, whoever wants to recite Salat and Durood on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the best possible way. He should recite the same Durood e Ibrahimi as Prophet (PBUH) taught his companions. There is no Durood better than this Darood. So if a person abandons these mesmerizing words and adopts words that contradict bid’ah, it is a great loss for him.
Imam Dhabi Says
Imam Dhahabi (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
“Whoever does not devote himself to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in his acts of worship and charity. He will have to feel remorse, he will become a monk and his mood will deteriorate.” And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who is very compassionate and takes great care of the believers, will be deprived of a lot of goodness due to his turning away from following the Sunnah.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
“In some of the books which contain the Masjid al-Durood. In which the praise of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is described, And it is permissible only for Allah. The Lord of the worlds, so avoid all such words of Durood, but run away from them as if you were running after seeing a lion.
